I met Marko in a conference at Cagayan de Oro City years ago . We actually did not meet, we just saw each other there . It would really irk me if I wouldn’t know even a single detail from someone I find interesting regardless of the skin or age . That being said, I asked around what’s his name . Even nagged my friends who are friends with his friends (LOL) to give me his number .
I started hounding him, just on the virtual world . Text messages or even phone calls, chat through YM, added him up on Facebook and viewed all his videos in Youtube . He actually plays the piano (or is it organ?) . Kindly check out his videos on YouTube, specially River Flows In You by Marko Paolo Tejada .
I know, I know, I’m shameless . Hahaa ! No need to ridicule, guys . So, there . I like him and I know he knows it . I am not embarrassed nor ashamed about what I feel . It’s just plain honest liking . That’s all . Added with the fact that he doesn’t mind if I’m that gaga over him . We talked over the phone about a lot of stuff, shared our lives, our secrets and all . And for once, I felt he cared for me and that I am important to him as well . I saw him as someone who is also human . At least, I matter and I’m happy with just that .
Hair . It’s what I like most about him . I really really like it (mimics Ryan Bang) ! Well, when I first saw him, he’s got this messy curly golden hair . And heaven forbid, I’m a sucker for anime-looking guys ! I was like “Omigod ! Omigod !” . Not to mention I was trying to look anime myself (colored my hair red and maintained it up to now) though I’m not making much of a success .
Unfortunately, after non-stop phone calls and text messages . He informed me he’ll be leaving for Australia and I was like -blank- . In denial . Hurt . Numb .
HAHA . I know I have no right to feel that way . We are not even related in legal ways . We are just virtual friends . Though I always insist we ARE friends . You do not need to be there physically, right (though it would be nice to have him hug me) ?
And so he left .
After a few years (or was it just a year and some months?), he’s back in the Philippines . And I was like -blank- . In denial . Euphoric . Hoping .
He is back and says he valued me as a friend (maybe even more than that) but the painful part is .
He’ll be leaving for Australia .
AGAIN .
ON MY BIRTHDAY . :’(
